Donnie Ray Blount, 40, Rt. 6, Paris, died in St. Joseph's Hospital, at 2:55 p.m. Sat.  Services at 2 p.m. Tue., at Fry and Gibbs with Dr. Wilburn Simmons and Rev. Mike     Fortenberry.  Born in Paris, son of James C. and Alyeene Henson Blount.  Graduated from Paris Hi.  Had been a fireman for Paris for 17 years and was a member of Ramseur Baptist Church.  Married Cathy Carroll on Sept. 6, 1989.  Surviving are his wife; 2 sons, Zachery and Nicholas Blount of Paris; his parents who live in Paris; a sister, Mrs. Butch "Darlene" Peel of Paris; a brother and sister in law, Ronnie and Myra Blount of Paris; 3 nephews and 2 neices."
