Feb. 2, 1996, p. 10A:  "Richard Lewis Hill, 45, of Mesquite died Sunday, Jan. 28, 1996, at Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas.  Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at Solid Rock Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Wallace officiating.  Maxey Funeral Home will make burial in Restlawn Garden Cemetery.  Mr. Hill was born June 8, 1950, in Paris, a son of Robert and Ruthie Mae Hill.  He was educated at Paris High School, Paris Junior College and East Texas State University.  He was employed at El Centro College.  He was a member of the Professional Support Staff Association, president of Sigma Delta Phi and president of Circle K.  He was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Dallas.  Surviving are five brothers, John R. Hill, Eddie J. Hill, the Rev. Billy Hill, Rufus W. Hill and Kenneth G. Hill, all of Paris; and five sisters, Debra K. Hill, Jean D. Myles and Kathy A. Hill of Paris; and Margaret J. Lane of Arlington; and Volanda Hill of Washington.
