'J. B. Lyons, age 48, 714-1st NE, died at his home, Tuesday, April 13, 1999. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 17, at Olive Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. R. L. Gray officiating. Maxey Funeral Home will make burial in Piney Cemetery in Talco. He was a 1967 graduate of Gibbons High School and had served in the Marine Corps. Surviving are his wife, Regina Boyd Lyons; sons, Ricky Flowers of Paris and Maurishe Boyd Lyons of Dallas; daughters, Shonda Clark and Tosha Boyd Lyons of Dallas; a brother, Billy Fuller of Fort Worth; a sister, Glendeane Tatum; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Charles Ray Ladell, Edgar Chester, Ricky Ellis, Billy Hill, L. C. Flowers and Louis Lyons.'
