Harry Glenn Crawford Harry Glenn Crawford Posted: The Paris News, Tuesday, April 10, 2012 11:08 am Harry Glenn Crawford, 60, of Sumner, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012, at his residence. Memorial services will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Tab Moree officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. He was born on June 22, 1951, in Paris, the son of Harry Crawford Sr. and Merle Chandler. He was a longtime employee of Purvis Bearings until December of 1999. Harry had served as president of the Kiwanis Soccer Association and was a board member of the YWCA Softball Association when Cade and Cayla were in sports. Harry enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends and family and especially Cade “Rabbit,” taking every step with him. His girls Cayla and Cristy, whom he loved dearly, were his pride and joy. He was of the Baptist Faith. He married Vicki Sue Toon on May 30, 1969, in Paris. He was preceded in death by his father Harry L. Crawford Sr. Harry is survived by his wife, Vicki Crawford; son, James Cade Crawford and wife, Cristy; daughter, Cayla Crawford; granddaughter, Callie Nicole Crawford; mother, Merle Chandler; stepmother, Nelda Crawford; brother, Harry L. Crawford Jr.; sisters, Donna Carrell Camas, Washington, Theresa and Joe Woodcock of Washougal, Wash. and Gail and Freddy Smith of Paris; special nurse, Mela-Dee Woodard; physicians Dr. William Surber of Paris and Dr. William Woodfin of Dallas. He was a wonderful husband and supporting Dad and “G Daddy.” Callie was the light of his life. He will be greatly missed as a loving husband, dad, “G Daddy,” brother and son.
