Arnold Leroy (Jason) Parsons, 26, of 202 George Wright Homes, died Saturday morning, September 17, 1977, at a local hospital.  Funeral services were held Monday morning in the Gene Roden's Sons Chapel, with the Rev. James Sims and the Rev. J. W. Sims officiating.  Interment was made in Ringold Cemetery in Oklahoma with the Rev. Jake Voucher officiating.  Mr. Parsons was born at Ft. Hood, Texas, on June 9, 1951, son of Albert Parsons and Mary Etta Williams Parsons.  He was a member of the Abundant Life Tabernacle, and attended elementary and high school in Paris and had also attended Paris Junior College.  He served in the U. S. Army from July 3, 1973 until July 29, 1977, and was employed as an agent for Union Bankers Insurance Company.  Survivors include his parents of 202 George Wright Homes and one sister, Paula Sue Ingram, also of Paris."
