Children: Candace, born 1981, graduated from TCU then taught school in Puebla, Mex. before returning to S.A. to More…teach 2nd grade in an elementary school that feeds into the high school where I work. She is single and lives life to bicycle, run, and travel.
Christopher, born 1978, graduated from Soutwest Texas State, works as a Project Engineer for Gilbane Construction Co. He married his girlfriend of 8 years after he returned from working in Iraq in 2005.
Comments:

I finished college in 1974, got married in 1975 and we moved to San Antonio in 1976. I taught PE and coached until Christopher was born and then stayed home being a mom for 15 years. I have been a counselor at Lee High School for 16 years and love working with the young kids. (It helps to keep me young....haha) My past-time is playing tennis...a lot, 3 or more times a week.
I used to come to Paris a lot until my mother died in 2001. Since then I have only been back 3 or 4 times (usually when Becky Biard and I can do a road trip)

I got the following information from Michael Austin, Becky Baird's love  

 

Yes, I took care of her for a few years before I came up to Vera... get her back on her feet after her long term relationship crashed down in Corpus... she was living in Georgia when she crossed over, 674 Inland Way, NW, Lilburn 30047.

Lung cancer metasticized…. brave little thing... bless her heart... she left a message with her house mate to call me when she couldn't get in touch... has kinda broke my heart I wasn't there for her at the very end. I pray she wasn't too alone.
