- Sid - you have a great sense of humor....thanks for starting the post.

Yeah...Some of us have even hired a trainer to make sure we put our best foot forward. Me? My trainer, Chris, is a day trainer (no, not day trader..DAY TRAINER). That means...at night he is a Chipindale dancer on the strip. He hasn't helped me that much because I keep lowering the weight he recommends and cutting the sets in half and well I am lazy.....but the sit-up demonstrations he does are eye candy and that alone keep me coming back for more instruction. Only in Vegas.

Does anyone know how to locate Debbie Duvall, who went to Crockett with us, or anything about her? Does anyone remember where she moved to when she left Paris?

Hey,
Some of you "inside" people got a head start.I'm not sure I can lose enough weight in six months. Thanks for the inspiration.I looked at photos of some of my old classmates that I haven't seen for forty years and I was shocked.Flabbergasted. Man you people are old! For once in my life I'm glad I have a baby face. I hope we have large name tags so I can recognize everyone.I've already started thinking of exotic places I've lived and weird and exciting jobs I've had.Who the hell is going to know anyway? Are we going to have a "blast" at the Gibraltar?
Car caravan from the Sonic to the Dairy Queen? Submarine races at the lake?

Old Sonic no longer there. Cindy and I go back to Paris once or twice a year to look at where things used to be.

Someone who graduated with our son mentioned recently that they were due for a class reunion, their 10th. I just shook my head to think that it has actually been 40 years since we graduated. Its hard to believe that it could possibly have been that long ago. I really look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

By the way, Merry Christmas to you all!!!

Bypass the LOUNGE', and head for the fish market for some cherry vodka, and make sure to take the '66.

Mike Sanders

Gurley-Why would you want to lose weight? If you do that, you won't look like the rest of us!

Ok there are California fat farms, south beach diets or liposuction.I've still got time to try all three.I just realized my company's all expense paid 5-star Aruba trip is April 23-27...what should I do...I think I should help Mike Sanders eat some of that now famous Bar-B-Que!
Seniors,Seniors We are fine, we're the class of 69.

Gurley-You're making a wise choice. Aruba comes in a distant second when compared to Sanders ribs and chicken. And when was the last time you got an invitation to a Sanders Q party? You'll want to come back for more!

One of our classmates has lost her 1969 yearbook. Does anyone know if it is possible to get a replacement? It may not be a hot item on EBay!

Patricia Sparks (Bell)

PHS had one 1969 yearbook left which I just picked up, so someone owes me $20. FYI, the current Owl staff said our cover design for that yearbook is their favorite. Must be all that psychedelic, Age of Aquarius blue, purple, hot pink swirly stuff! It does look pretty cool! Whoever worked on the Owl staff that designed that cover -- Kudos!

I sure would like to meet Linda and Becky for a short trip to Oklahoma!!! Sounds like some fond, if not careless memories. Marcie

Seen and heard on or about 04/25/09

My wife and I were sitting at a table at my high school reunion, and I kept
staring at a drunken lady swigging her drink as she sat alone at a nearby
table.

My wife asked, 'Do you know her?'

'Yes,' I sighed, 'She's my old girlfriend. I understand she took to drinking
right after we split up those many years ago, and I hear she hasn't been
sober since.'

'My God!' said my wife, 'who would think a person could go on celebrating
that long?'

And then the fight started...

Let the games begin,

Why are there so few recent pictures? If I, with my monumental ego, can parade my excess tonnage and thinning white hair, the rest of you could at least give me a fighting chance to recognize you a month from now.

Chuck you make a great point.... I fit in the same category!

Luckily, for those of us with those condintions AND a failing memory we are creating name tags with senior pictures on them! Of course, the name will be in LARGE print.

There will be no escaping the "before and after"...... could be brutual for me!
