Tony went to First Ward, Crockett, and PHS with us. By high school, he had dropped back a grade, but I think a lot of people would like to know about him. He was a cute little kid at First WArd, and my mother still talks about the time we all had a lemonade stand together on Washington St!

Tony and I began our friendship in the first grade at First Ward Elementary. He and I spent many hours "sitting on the rock" during recess for some infraction or another--lol! He was a friend in spite of the troubles he encountered after high school and amazingly was a proficient golfer in spite of his troubles. Tony is a perfect example for many of us in that "There by the grace of God go I" and in spite of his troubles, the last time I saw Tony, he was still a good friend!
Still see his dad, Andrew Smith, probably the best police officer Paris has ever seen, but, is really beginning to look his age. Andrew still remembers everyone and I would bet he still remembers all of the folks who went to school with Tony! A truly remarkable man!
