So many of our school colleagues pass without our ever really knowing them as the rare individuals they are.  Richard was one.  An artist and sensitive person--I miss not having known him as an adult as he really came into being as himself.  I say that about Richard and I mean that about all my other classmates--those God selected for me to grow up with and know as children.  I will miss you, Richard.  And I will love and honor your memory always.

Richard was a sweet, loving and honest young man and I had one real chance to get to know him at a Willie Nelson Picnic in Oklahoma!  We rode motorcycles all over the place so we didn't have to do all the walking we usually did.  Another girl went with me from Commerce where I was in college, but I really got to know Richard much  better, even though he was very quiet!  That says alot about him.  I will honor you and those memories always!    Peace, brother.

Richard was the best friend one could hope for.  Many happy memories of times with him.  Godspeed, buddy.

Richard was a good friend of mind, and i will miss him. Richard always had that little smile or sheepish grim on his face, and we will always remember him as "The Grim Reaper" for his nickname for his tenacious defense in football. Rest in peace buddy!
