Thomas Larue

Dec. 12, 2004:  "AZLE, Thomas Lynn LaRue, 53, passed from this life Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, at Harris Hospital in Azle, where he had resided for most of his adult life.  He was born in Lufkin on April 26, 1951, the fourth and last son of Milam and Lucille LaRue.  He grew up in Winnsboro, his parent's home, and moved to Paris when his dad was transferred to Paris in 1962.  He graduated from Paris High School and East Texas State University.  He was a school teacher and master carpenter.  He will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him.  He was one who never met a stranger and his infectious laughter will be missed forever.  He was a wonderful handyman taking after his father.  He had no previous history of heart disease, yet was the victim of a massive heart attack.  He was preceded in death by his oldest brother, James LaRue, and both of his parents, Milam and Lucille LaRue.  He is survived by his wife, Pam; his two sons who were the light of his life, Joshua and Zackary LaRue; his mother-in-law, Helen; his sister, Dolores LaRue Parker; two brothers, Carroll LaRue and Bob LaRue; nieces, Beverly Baker and Paige Parker; an aunt, Jo LaRue McGraw; Terri LaRue Hutto; and several cousins."
