Dec. 03, 2004:  "DALLAS, Sue Simpkins Wyrick, of Dallas passed away Monday, Nov. 29, 2004.  Funeral services are set for 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at Greenland Hills United Methodist Church, 5835 Penrose St., Dallas with the Rev. Marti Soper officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home.  She was born in Paris and after attending Paris Junior College, she completed her education and finished with a master's degree from North Texas University.  She had a caring heart and dearly loved her family and she was very active in her church as a Sunday school and vacation Bible school teacher.  She was a dedicated, giving teacher and counselor in DISD and Hill Middle School and earlier at Dan D. Rogers, Mr. Jackson, the principal said that, prior to coming to school, whenever he thought of Dan D. Rogers, he saw Wyrick.  She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey; son, Nicholas; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Thomas Mahan; brother-in-law, Richard Gater, nephew Geoffrey Gater; and many friends.  If desired, the family requests that donations be made to the school fund for her son, at Bank of America, c/o Thomas Mahan."
