TIM TAYLOR

I attended SMU and left with a degree in journalism. I spent 5 years trying to be a journalist with stops in Dallas, Colorado Springs, and Memphis. I shifted gears and became a master plumber and established a plumbing business with my father for a short time. I cashed in, moved back to Paris in 1983 and commuted to Commerce for graduate work in math and computer science and received my teacher credentials. Philip Nance gave me my first teaching assignment at Crockett Middle School, where I taught computer literacy for 20 years. I was socially promoted to Paris High in 2007 where I spent the final 10 of my 32-year teaching career. I taught audio/video production at PHS and maintained the school website until my retirement May 2018.

I still can't believe we were an open campus for lunch.
