Started working at Paris Milling Company during high school from co-op ag in the data processing department. How may remember 80 column cards or an IBM 407? I worked there as programmer/analyst/department manager until 1981. (Worked with Dan Ried, Doug Reid’s older brother). From there I began working at McCuistion Regional Medical Center as programmer/analyst in 1981 and became Information systems director in 1983 Worked at McCuistion until 2002 when St.Joseph’s and McCuistion combined. (The other director got the job). I began working at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home in 2004 as Comptroller/Business manager. Iva and I got married in 1973. We have owned and operated Traditions Flowers & Gifts since 1986, or I should say she runs the florist I just take instructions like a good husband should. I help out on holidays and am there most Saturdays.

I am in shock also. It was only about two or three weeks ago we saw Robert and  his wife and friends at a local Italian Restaurant. We would see them there quite often on Saturday nights. Rest in Peace Robert, condolence to the family, and thanks for being a friend.

All you other classmates. Take care and know you have not been forgotten by your other classmates, even though we may not communicate on a regular basis.

I am saddened to again learn of the passing of one of our classmates. I had a class with Brenda, and we became friends somewhat in that class. I flirted with her, which I am sure many of you other guys did too. She was so Cute. I did not know of her illness, I am sorry.  Nancy, it is so wonderful to have and be a friend such as you in these times of need. I only hope, when and if, I ever have to help a friend I can be as compassionate as you.

Iva and me at the Beat the Heat car show at the Love Civic Center in 2007. Found the car in Paris behind the Sonic, $400. Of course it did not look like this !!!
