Scan? what the hell is scan? Is that some new cleaner for glasses? Why am I the last to know? Who makes these words up?

Is there still any candy? Would you get me some while you are up?

What was it you were talking about? I must have dozed off.

Joe Ben Early -Teacher

Be aware that Joe B. will be at the reunion.
And will relate to you some of the things that happened
last summer at his 50th reunion. Such as the speech
that the MC made reguarding his presence among some old
people that were bald, wore glasses, and hearingaids, also
false teeth. But we all still have a sense of humor
especially when we look in the mirror each morning

thats enough for now...

see you there, Joe B

So Becky, if I drive up in a 66 Mustang will you show me how to get out of Chicota? Or however it's spelled. Save a dance for me and bring your walker.
Love, Sid

Sharon,

Looking forward to a moon? All it takes is a clear sky and a cloudy mind to get confused.

And as for the two from down South--you know who you are (B.B.&L.F.)--Keep that Mustang pointed North. You ladys might want to leave and head this way a bit early in case there is "car trouble". You know -- out of gas, carborator vapor lock, flat tire or such.......

And as for you Gurley---- The only 'Blue Moon' you'll see is Papa Smurff with his britches down.....

Keep Hope live,

Sid

Hey All,

I guess "Miss Goody Two Shoes" here missed all the fun. Goodness all the goings on! Well here is my exciting message. My third grade class is collecting Box Tops from namebrand products. We get a pizza party for having the most box tops. I am highly competitve when it comes to winning something at my school. I know its late notice (because I just thought of it) but if you could raid all your tissue boxes and cut out the box tops I'll have a big baggie ready!! Thanks.

Chuck, I haven't posted any pictures for that very reason except I'm not graying or bald. However, I can't see, hear, or remember anything. Now when is our reunion?

Kathy

Pictures of me when I was young? Was I ever young? There seems to be a lot of 'selective memoroies' being put up on the board. Did any of this realy happen, or was I hanging out with Miss Anderson before the lovely lady wed?

Must start my dusting now. Maybe I'll uncover a few relics and get them up before all is lost.

Be careful what you wish for,

Sid Gross

Just wanted to say how proud I am to call all of you classmates. Your life stories are AMAZING. You all should be proud of yourselves for all that you have done. If I may take the liberty to say, you and I both know our teachers would be so proud of the many things we have done. Like those that are teaching now, it was their life's work to teach a bunch of kids (like us at the time) and we are the results. They did not fail.

Those that are traveling, travel safely. Those that cannot make it, be assured you will not be forgotten.

See you at the reunion.

Will pray you all continue to be blessed.

I'm sorry that I will not be able to attend the reunion, but I want to thank Mike Bowden and everyone who was involved in planning the activities and putting up this great website. I have enjoyed reconnecting with many of you over the past month or so. I'm sure the reunion will be fun. I'll be thinking of you this weekend. I hope photos of the reunion will be online next week!

Bill - I have volunteered to take photos for no additional cost (in fact that's how I got the job - I was free). I am a wanta be photographer and have had lots of experience taking vacation photos. So with my new Rebel XSI I will see have thin and young I can make us all look. Mike and I have already talked about posting the pics so everyone can down load them. Sorry you can't join us...I agree with you Congratulations Mike - you and the other volunteers from the Class of 69 have done a great planning job on the event - and so thank you all! MARILYN.

Bill I know we will all miss seeing you. Maybe you can come to Dallas and we can get as many people together as possible.

Marilyn I'm so glad you are going to take the pictures. This way I won't have to figure out who everyone is from the torso and feet. I am the worst photographer in the world.

My husband nearly died when I told him I had asked for box tops. He's not sure he's coming with me.

I was going to take off Friday but I couldn't remember my pin number for the substitute system. I just love aging!
